The intent of this blog is to encourage singers, musicians and performers. Discover Your Music… Live Your Dream.

Most of us know the feeling of wanting ‘lucky lotto ticket’ success. Some babies are born into privilege, some have the DNA for genius level IQ’s and others the native gifts of a child prodigy. By sheer chance a few do buy that winning lotto ticket along with their morning cup of coffee. For most of us however, success is not a luxury vacation cruise but a strenuous hike on an unmarked, rugged and steep trail. Success is not bestowed but earned. Progress is uneven, slow and difficult. It comes only from taking one more step in spite of weakness and pain, a half step in spite of stomach churning fear, and yet another step forward despite criticism or rejection. The reward along the trail is personal growth, finding meaning and purpose and experiencing joy and deep relationships with friends who travel the same path. Cherish your journey. It is better than a ‘lucky break.’
